Climate Change and Carbon Emissions
In line with our sustainable service approach, we are actively combating climate change. The corporate carbon footprint report for 2024 has been prepared for the first time and verified by independent organizations in accordance with the ISO 14064-1 standard.
Waste Management and Zero Waste
A three-year “Industrial Waste Management Plan” has been prepared for all waste generated at our port area and approved by the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change. As a result of efforts carried out under the Zero Waste Regulation, the Zero Waste Certificate has been obtained. Recyclable waste is collected separately and sent for recycling through licensed companies.
Wastewater Management
Within the port boundaries, domestic and industrial wastewater is treated in wastewater treatment plants in accordance with current standards and discharged into the receiving environment under controlled conditions. Maintenance of the facilities is carried out by expert teams, and the effluent water is analyzed by accredited laboratories.
